The punch pins are also called male mould, upper die, and they could be divided into A-type punch pin, T-type punch pin and shaped punch pin.
Punch pin is a kind of metal parts assembled on the press die, which would touch material directly, make it cut and deformed. What's more, punch pins could also be divided into hot stamping punch and cold stamping punch. So what's the distinction between these two punches?
     1. The pin of hot stamping punch must be high temperature resistance, heat the product parts to austenitizing state, and the temperature is at the range from 600°C to 800°C. If the material of punch pin isn't high temperature resistance, it is hard to reach productivity effect and longer using lifespan. Therefore, choosing the material of punch pin is the first and key step, and then surface coating to improve and high temperature resistance and abrasive resistance of the punch pin, making the punch pin reach the optimized using effect and lead time.
     2. The quality for could stamping punch should be high hardness, good toughness, strong impact resistance, precision dimensional tolerance. The range of material choice for die punch is wide: SKD11, DC53, SKH51, SKH9, M35, M42, ASP23, ASP30, ASP60...
